Your Lease Agreement

Residents must sign a rental agreement, or lease, that spells out the terms and conditions of living on Marceline Housing Authority (MHA) property. This lease is a legal document between you and Marceline Housing Authority. When you sign a lease, you, all your household members, and your guests must:
• Follow the rules and regulations of MHA.
• Keep the unit clean and in safe condition (including appliances).
• Keep your apartment entrance free of trash, snow, and ice.
• Notify MHA of any and all repairs needed.
• Pay charges for the repairs and damages to your apartment.
• Cooperate with MHA staff.
• Not store flammable materials in your unit.
• Agree that any criminal or other type of activity that threatens the health, safety, or right to peaceful enjoyment of the premises by other residents, guests, or MHA employees is cause for possible termination of your lease.

Your personal information can be updated at the office in person, or
you may print off and fill out the Change of Information Form from
this website and bring it to the office.

How can I reach Maintenance for an after-hours emergency?

You will be given after-hours numbers in your move-in packet, and
they are posted on the lobby doors.
