WORKING TOGETHER IN SERVING SENIORS AGE 60+

The Marceline Housing Authority and The Marceline Area Nutrition and Senior Center are two different entities operating in conjuction serving seniors age 60+ (and their spouses regardless of age.) The Marceline Nutrition Program serves hot, nutritious meals with no income questions or requirements with the goal of meeting the nutritional needs of all area senior citizens. A contribution of $3.00 per meal is suggested but not required to help The Marceline Nutrition Program cover meal and operation costs. NO ONE WILL BE DENIED A MEAL IF UNABLE TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Feel free to bring a guest (regardless of age) to enjoy a meal with you! Guests under the age of 60 are charged $6.00 to cover the cost of the meal. Call Gaye Bell, Administrator, at 660-376-3103 if you think you may qualify for Medicaid Meals or for more information. Senior Center activities along with a daily menu for each week appear on the Marceline City website. The daily menu is also announced on 99.1 radio. A printed calendar of activities and menus is available at the sign-in desk.
